- How do I place an order?
You can now order online or by sending an email to Orders@thechocolateswirl.com.
Once your order has been submitted, it will be processed in 1-2 business days. A Chocolate Swirl representative will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your order. Please be aware that your order is not guaranteed until you have received confirmation from a Chocolate Swirl Representative. - How long will it take to fill my order?
To ensure the highest quality & freshness, our products are made to order. We try to get them out as soon as we can, but please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be filled, 2-3 weeks during holiday time.
- DELIVERY OPTIONS
- Can I pick up my order?
Pick up is available in the Ditmars area of Astoria, NY (Queens) free of charge. You can also pick up your order at one of our market tables. Please check out our EVENTS section on our Facebook page to see where we'll be next.
- Do you offer delivery?
Hand delivery is available for select areas. We currently deliver to NYC, NJ, and Long Island. Our current DELIVERY rates are as follows: Feel free to contact us if you don't see your area on the chart below. Rates below take effect Jan 15th, 2011.

We ship our products using USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, which will usually take 2 -3 days. During the holidays there could be some delays so please allow for extra delivery time. Our current SHIPPING rates are as follows:

SUMMER WEATHER SHIPPING ALERT: Due to warmer weather, the LAST day to ship orders via USPS will be June 1st, 2011. We will still offer pick up in the Ditmars area of Astoria as well as hand delivery to NYC, NJ, and Long Island. Warm weather shipping is available for an extra cost, please email for info. We will resume USPS shipping in the fall. Thank you and have a great day! - Do you ship cakes or cupcakes?
We regret that we CANNOT ship cakes, cupcakes, or specialty desserts. We can however ship truffles, brownie pops, and cookies.
- PAYMENT
- How do I submit payment?
You can now submit payment by using your credit card or an electronic check through PayPal (www.paypal.com) where you can pay safely and securely. Once your order is received, we will send you an invoice with your PayPal link. Payment must be received before order can be filled.

- How do I order a custom cake or Specialty Dessert?
You can now use our Custom Cake & Specialty Dessert form to receive a no obligation quote. This includes all NON TRUFFLE items. A Chocolate Swirl representative will get back to you with a quote and ordering information.
- Do you offer catering for parties?
Yes, catering is available for parties of all sizes for truffles or any of our cakes, desserts, brownies, cupcakes, or any other delicious creation you can think of. Please use our Custom Cake & Specialty Dessert Form to begin the process.
- How far in advance should I place my order?
We'd like as much lead time as possible, but it you have a short notice order, let us know and we can try to make it for you. If possible, we ask that you give us at least 2-4 weeks notice for specialty cakes, 4-6 weeks for bridal cakes.
- How much do you charge for specialty, sculpted or novelty cakes?

- What cake flavors and fillings do you have?

- I have my own cake flavor in mind, do you do custom cake flavors?
Our cakes are made to order, so if you have a flavor in mind, let us know and we'll do everything we can do to make it for you.
- Do you make gluten free and sugar free cakes?
Unfortunately at this time, we do not offer gluten free or sugar free cakes
- Is a deposit required when placing an order?
Custom cake and specialty dessert orders require a 50% deposit. Order cannot be guaranteed until a deposit has been received. Balance in full is due two weeks prior to the event.
- MISCELLANEOUS
- Can you make picture cakes/ cupcakes or cookies?
Yes, we now have the ability to print your pictures, corporate logos or images onto cakes, cookies, or cupcakes. Please contact us for more information.
- Do you offer logo cookies for corporate events?
Yes we do offer logo cookies for corporate events, as well as party favors for weddings, showers, birthday parties, and more. Please contact us for more information.
