Operation Game Cake

This cake his cake was to celebrate my brother-in-law starting medical school and his official "white coat" ceremony. We wanted something medical, but still fun and unique. The inside of the cake was yellow cake with vanilla rainbow sprinkle buttercream. It was covered and decorated completely in fondant. Pill Bottle Cake

This cake was a special surprise cake for one of my best friends dad's 60th birthday.  He's a pharmacist, so we wanted to do something in that theme that was really different and fun! The" pill bottle" cake is red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream and then covered in fondant. The "cap" cake is chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate crunchies also covered in fondant.   Even the pills are edible! The labels are printed onto edible frosting sheets. Reality TV Cake

This cake was a very special birthday cake for a super reality tv fan! The cake itself is chocolate cake, with toffee caramel crunch filling, and iced with vanilla buttercream. 1960s Tie Dye Protest Cake

This was a 65th birthday cake for a client who was very active in the civil rights movement as well as attended and organized some big time US protests. we used her old protest buttons as inspiration. Check out the BLOG POST for more or the story as well as some great pictures.

Sex and The City Cake

This cake was for a 50th birthday in NYC. The cake itself is red velvet with cream cheese frosting covered in fondant. All of the decorations are handmade out of fondant, including the shoe and pearls! The mini martini glass is of course plastic, but we filled it with strawberry jello to make it look like a mini cosmo. Check out our BLOG for more pictures.

Another one of our infamous corset cakes. This time in a red and black theme for a client's boyfriend's birthday! The cake is half chocolate, half vanilla. A great way to say Happy Birthday!

Peace Sign 45th Anniversary Cake

This was a custom cake for a long time client for their 45th Wedding anniversary. The cake is chocolate cake with raspberry preserve filling and frosted with chocolate buttercream. 60th Birthday Photo Cake

This was a very special cake we made for a 60th Birthday! It was a two tiered chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream, covered in fondant. It was decorated with lots of fun images of the birthday girls past. Highlights included the Beatles, her old car, favorite movies, her dog, and a picture of her old glasses she used to wear when she was a kid. A fun walk down memory lane and all edible! Shield Graduation Cake

This was a This was a very unique graduation cake for a criminal justice major (who LOVES Superman and Lacrosse). The cake itself is yellow cake with rainbow sprinkle buttercream and decorated in fondant. Everything but the Superman is edible. Old Man Belly Cake

This was a very unusual but totally fun cake to make! It was for a surprise 70th birthday party on Halloween, which was indeed the actual birthday of the guest of honor. The cake is chocolate cake with mocha frosting and fondant on the outside. We decided to make the boxer shorts a little more festive for Halloween.

Funky Anniversary Cake

Vanilla sponge cake, with vanilla and chocolate pudding layers, chocolate icing, and dark chocolate shavings on the outside with chocolate garnishes on top. Add in the bright fun colors, lime green and teal, to really give it a kick and offset the dark color of the rich chocolate icing. And yes all those dots are lime green chocolate and totally edible!

37 Chevy Car Cake

This was such a great cake to make!! This was a special surprise cake for a car enthusiast for his 50th birthday. He restores old cars and we modeled this one after his most recent project. The cake itself is chocolate cake with creamy peanut butter frosting. It's decorated completely with fondant, and other than a few structural toothpicks, everything else is completely edible! Custom cake made for a NYC lingerie bachelorette party. This cake includes 3 different flavor cakes - yellow cake with chocolate buttercream, chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream, and the tummy cake is yellow cake with vanilla buttercream. Covered and decorated with fondant.

Beach Wedding Cake

This was a very special cake i made for my brother-in-laws Cape Cod wedding. our first official out of town wedding! This beach theme cake had a lot of fun stuff going on. Three different flavors of cake 1- chocolate cake/ vanilla buttercream and chocolate crunchies 2- yellow cake with cannoli filling, 3- strawberry shortcake. And edible shells and sand! This was our first full size wedding cake and the largest to date! Covered in fondant, garnished with Swarovski crystals, shimmered with luster dust, and embellished with antique brooches. A stunning cake for a fabulous winter wedding!

Bridal Shower Cupcake Tower

Cupcake tower for a NJ bridal shower, made of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, with icing to match the colors of the shower. The little discs on top are made of gumpaste and then royal icing initials were piped on each for the bride and groom to be.

1st Birthday Baby Block Cake

I had the pleasure of making this birthday cake for little Miss Emma's 1st birthday! The cake is yellow cake with pink buttercream on the outside, and vanilla rainbow sprinkle buttercream filling on the inside. The stripes, flowers, bottom ball border, and super cute teddy bears are all made of fondant. The blocks are actually tinted white chocolate so everything is completely edible! This cake was designed by soon to be 7 year old Sarah from PA. I even was given a super cute drawing of her very own design featuring peace sign and a smiley face! Among many fun elements, it involved kitty cats "only the orange and white ones", one kity cat that was "a person dressed as a kitty cat", and " oh can we maybe put in a rainbow lizard?" lol. A special birthday cake for a theme park loving teenager! We were able to incorporate all her favorite FL theme parks. The cake it self is one of my favorite flavors, chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip buttercream, YUM!

This was another fun cake to make! The ideas came straight from the imagination of 6 year old Jose for his birthday. The cake itself is yellow cake with chocolate buttercream, and tinted vanilla buttercream on the outside. A cake fit for a princess! We made this cake to go along with our Princess theme decorate-your-own cupcake and cookie party. The cake itself is chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream with mini chocolate chips and frosted with pink colored vanilla buttercream. Super Mario Brothers Cake

A super fun cake for a 6th Birthday! The cake is made of up three different flavor cakes. The top tier is yellow cake with vanilla pudding, the bottom tier is chocolate cake with vanilla chocolate chip frosting, and the mushroom on top is yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and then covered in fondant. The tiered cakes are frosted in tinted vanilla buttercream (the sky), the bushes are also done in buttercream, and the various decorations are made of fondant. The two super cute plastic figurines were the perfect finishing touch for the top.

First Communion Cake

Two tiered custom communion cake for an adorable 8 year old girl. Moist chocolate cake with vanilla chocolate chip frosting and decorated with fondant and gumpaste flowers. The little girl's favorite color is blue, so we went with simple and fun blue flowers, and the figurine on top was meant to look like her! She loved it and mom was thrilled as well!

Jungle Cake

This cake was for my sister-in-law who is starting her graduate degree in environmental studies. The cake itself is a Smores cake, our decadent chocolate cake with an oooey gooey filling of marshmallow creme, chocolate covered graham pieces, and milk chocolate ganache. The cake was then iced in green tinted buttercream and decorated with both buttercream and fondant elements. Everything is edible (except for a few structural toothpicks here and there). Cute as a button baby shower cake. Features yellow cake, fresh strawberries and whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. Garnished with white chocolate shavings on the sides and two cute little gumpaste baby booties on top.

Golf 30th Birthday Cake

A surprise 30th Birthday cake for a super golfer. This cake has a bunch of fun stuff going on. The bottom tier is chocolate cake with vanilla chocolate chip filling, the top two cake tiers are yellow cake with chocolate pudding filling, and the golf hat is actually a big ball of chocolate chip cookie then covered in fondant! Everything was frosted in tinted buttercream, and garnished with fondant and gumpaste decorations. The only non edible thing is the pole for the flag and the trees. The base of the trees are styrofoam cones that are covered with piped buttercream. So you can lick them but can’t eat them!

NJ Devils Hockey Puck Cake

A luscious red velvet cake, with vanilla white chocolate chip filling, and vanilla icing. The hockey jersey (customized with last name and his special number) and lettering are all done in various colors of chocolate, with black sanding sugar on the sides to give the puck that final authentic look. This cake was all NJ Devils colors inside and out!

Baseball Diamond Cake

Custom 60th Birthday baseball diamond cake for a die hard Yankees fan! It features chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream. Garnishes include fondant, graham cracker crumbs, and plastic figurines.

Large Graduation Book Cake

A custom 4 tiered book cake for a columbia PHD graduate personalized with her majors and interests, as well as the official doctoral cap (and yes the graduation cap was a totally edible cake!). Each book was a different flavor of cake! From the bottom up - Chocolate cake with raspberry filling, Yellow cake with lemon curd filling, Yellow cake with raspberry jam filling, and chocolate cake with mocha buttercream filling.

Mini Graduation Book Cake

A custom 3 tiered book cake for a teacher who had just received her masters degree in education. Each book was a different flavor of cake! The larger cake is chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, the smaller book is yellow cake with vanilla buttercream, and the hat is also yellow cake with vanilla buttercream. Decorated with fondant and chocolate letters.

"Hippie" Lawyer Graduation Cake

A custom cake for a recent law school grad speciaizing in immigration and gender equality law. The cake is chocolate cake with caramel toffee crunch filling and iced with red tinted vanilla buttercream and white sprinkles to spell out the school. The books are rice krispie treats covered in fondant. Happy to report the graduate loved it!
